Our journey began with a shared passion for the arts, specifically, the classical Indian dance form of Bharatnatyam. As we embarked on this artistic path together, we discovered a deep connection not only to the dance but to the transformative power of art itself. This shared passion became the spark for something much larger: a vision to create a space where arts, music, and performing arts from across the world could thrive. We recognized the need for a platform that transcended borders and ages, where the beauty of various art forms could be celebrated and explored.
Padme Foundation was born from this desire, to not only create a space where aspiring artists can showcase their talent, find their voices, and feel supported in their creative journeys but also provide young artists with the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and artistic expressions. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps or an experienced artist with years of practice, our platform welcomes all. We believe that art has the unique ability to bridge gaps, foster understanding, and ignite creativity, and we want to share that with like-minded artists.
Our goal is to inspire the next generation of young creative minds to appreciate, engage with, and learn from the rich cultural tapestries that exist around the world. Ultimately, our hope is to grow into a community that nurtures the creativity and passion of both young and seasoned artists, ensuring that the spirit of creativity, culture, and collaboration thrives for years to come.

ANITHA NATARAJAN
Anitha Natarajan’s artistic journey began with Carnatic singing and learning the Veena. Years later, as a mother of three and a software professional in the United States, she felt a strong calling to return to her roots in Bharatanatyam.
This time, her journey was not just for herself but to inspire her daughters to embrace the dance she had once dreamed of mastering. In the process, Anitha rediscovered her own deep love for the art form. She completed her Arangetram in 2023, under the tutelage of Smt. Indrani Parthasarathy.
Inspired by the many artists who have guided and shaped her journey, Anitha is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Through Padme Foundation, she envisions a space where creativity thrives, talent is nurtured, and artistic voices find a platform to shine. Her mission is to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment to celebrate diverse artistic traditions, and empower individuals to pursue their creative passions with confidence and purpose.

SAVITHA RAJAN
Savitha’s love for Bharatanatyam began at the young age of six under the tutelage of Guru Sri T. S. Bhatt in Bangalore, where she trained intensively for ten years. Alongside dance, she was actively involved in theater, choreographing and directing plays, while also performing nationally.
After moving to the United States to pursue her master’s degree, Savitha continued to perform by keeping her passion for the arts alive. Savitha found her way back to the traditional art form through Abhinaya School of Performing Arts in Houston, where she continues to nurture her devotion to Bharatanatyam.
Committed to inspiring young artists, just as her mentors shaped her journey, Savitha is dedicated to giving back through Padme Foundation. Through this platform, she is inspired to empowering and uplifting young artists, by ensuring that the next generation has the support and inspiration to connect, collaborate and share their creative passions.
